Miles Mural
Painted by artist Lamar Miles, this gorgeous mural seen on the
store front of 5 Points Liquors, pays homage to two of our favorite
island mascots: sea turtles and pirates. Amelia Island is known for
the sea turtles that nest on our beaches every May – October as
well as the lengths we take to protect them, so it’s only fitting that
they be proudly displayed for all to see. And pirates? Well, they’re
not all bad. As a matter of fact, they roam the island freely to this
day thanks to the Fernandina Beach Pirates Club, a civic and charitable organization made up of “Amelia
Island’s Goodwill Ambassadors to the World".

Vintage Coca-cola Sign
Have a coke and a smile! The Palace Saloon is Florida's oldest
bar and quite possibly the most photographed on the inside.
However, it's the vintage "Drink Coca Cola" ghost sign that
garners the most camera snaps on the outside. Said to be the
first hard liquor bar to begin serving Coca-Cola around 1905,
The Palace has been slinging drinks ever since, namely their
signature rum-infused Pirates Punch that will have you singing
along with the ghost of Uncle Charlie that supposedly haunts the place.
